Warranty Conditions
The validity of your vehicle warranty depends on meeting the following requirements:
01. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be entered correctly, and the vehicle model must match the details shown on the vehicle nameplate.
02. The Vehicle Warranty Certificate makes you eligible for warranty coverage, subject to the conditions, restrictions, and exclusions mentioned in this booklet. The WULING Dealer must complete this certificate accurately, and the registered owner is responsible for keeping the certificate safe. Any certificate that has been altered, tampered with, or borrowed from another party will be deemed invalid.
03. During the warranty period defined in Section 1.3 of this booklet, WULING Authorized Service Centres will carry out warranty-related work at no charge, in accordance with the terms, limitations, and requirements described here in.
04. Unless stated otherwise under Sri Lankan laws or specified in this booklet, all warranty-related repairs or part replacements must be carried out at an Authorized Service Centre.
05. WULING vehicles are covered by WULING’s written warranty as explained in this booklet, as well as by the laws of Sri Lanka.
06. Failure to comply with the terms, restrictions, and requirements outlined in this booklet may result in the withdrawal of your warranty rights.
07. Routine maintenance and scheduled servicing are essential to ensure that your vehicle performs as intended. WULING strongly recommends following the service schedule in this booklet, as it helps improve performance and extend the lifespan of vehicle components. Any malfunction or damage resulting from missed maintenance, improper care, or unauthorized repairs may render the warranty null and void.
08. In the event of any inconsistency between this booklet and the laws of Sri Lanka, the laws of Sri Lanka shall prevail.
Additional Warranty Conditions
1.4 Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
(a) Normal wear and tear of spare parts and the costs that are incurred from it, such as: light bulbs (except LED light), fuses, tires, wiper blades, disc brakes/drum brakes, brake pads/brake shoes, brushes, A/C refrigerant, etc.
(b) Spare parts and materials used for periodical maintenance, including labor cost, such as:
01. A/C filter.
02. Differential oil, brake fluid, and grease.
(c) All service cost arising from inspections or adjustments such as:
01. Wheel alignment and tyre balancing.
02. Brake and pedals adjustment.
03. Doors and hood adjustment.
04. Other adjustments already performed during the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
05. Expenses and losses associated with warranty repair, including telephone, accommodation, towing, car rental, travel, lodging, etc.
(d) Damage caused by external factors, such as:
01. Accidents.
02. Road condition.
03. Scratch and bumps from hard objects.
04. Paint damage resulting from weathering, such as from chemical substances, animal droppings, collission with hard objects, or improper maintenance.
05. Rust on vehicle parts due to the weathering or exposure to chemicals.
(e) Irregularities and changes that are generally not considered damage and do not affect the vehicle's function, such as:
01. Weatherstrip deformation that does not cause leakage.
02. Hidden damage or damage visible only with specialized tools, such as magnifying glass.
03. Noise and vibration that do not affect the motor vehicle operation.
04. Factors beyond the control of production and product design.
05. Visual changes due to usage and aging, such as change of paint discoloration or signs of wear on interior material.
(f) Lack of maintenance, non-standard charging procedures, or use of lubricant, and fluids that do not conform to the vehicle specifications outlined in the Owner's Manual.
